The Purchasing Division of the Finance Department is responsible for the purchase of supplies and services, ranging from pencils to fire engines. The purchasing function is de-centralized, which allows each department to purchase supplies directly. Purchasing policy is set by the City Council and is implemented by the Financial Services Manager. |
