Families whose income is less than $49,000 may qualify for free tax preparation assistance through the Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Campaign, sponsored by the United Way of The Bay Area and the IRS. The Campaign is coordinated by the Children Network of Solano County and provides trained, certified volunteers to help fill out tax returns and make sure that taxpayers are taking advantage of special tax credits or deductions. This could mean a bigger tax refund for many families.
For more information, contact the Children Network at 707.421.7229, or make an appointment by contacting the sites directly.
